Jon Reynolds

Diocesan Director of Education

Jon came to head the team in February 2000, from an advisory post for Buckinghamshire LEA.  He has taught RE and Physics in the Diocese, at secondary schools in Leighton Buzzard and Hemel Hempstead.  His laid-back and easy-going manner belie a deep concern for the well-being of church schools.  Those wishing to meet him are well advised to take him for a pie and a pint at the local.  Married with four boys, Jon is a Reader at the churches in the Tring district.  He was made an Honorary Canon at St Albans Abbey shortly after his appointment as Director of Education.  Conscious of this honour bestowed upon him, Jon particularly appreciates access to the legendary wine cellars of the Abbey.
