Information for Governors

If you are, or are considering becoming, a school governor in a church school, the following information may be of interest.

It is no longer necessary for school governors to undergo a full check by the Criminal Records Bureau, although a List 99 check is recommended.

Clerks: To inform the Schools Team of key personnel on the new governing body, please download the VC form or the VA form as appropriate, complete it and e-mail it to schools@stalbans.anglican.org .
